Most of my work sits at the intersection of AI, complex data, and high-stakes environments. In a place where clarity and trust matter more than features. I’m interested in how systems explain themselves: how predictions become understandable, how recommendations become actionable, and how interfaces help experts stay in control rather than feel overridden by automation.
Across logistics, legal tech, healthcare, and fintech, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat: the failure point is rarely model accuracy, it’s human trust. That’s where I focus my work: turning complex system behavior into something people can confidently use in real decisions.
I work across the full arc (from early discovery to shipped product) shaping direction as much as execution. I've built design practice inside teams, and spent 15 years running Tripascoração, a studio spanning product, brand, and digital experience.
Based in Porto, I work remotely with teams across Europe and internationally.
